It looked like the second live perfomance was going to be a disaster when the obvious audience catcher Saattue had to cancel their event. Anyway, it did not stop Astral Sleep nor Colosseum to perform the best way possible, and the gig was very successful. I myself had multiple times stronger performance than on the last gig andit felt very good to be on stage.

Heavy Corner, Helsinki Finland 28.08.2009

Our first serious gig in a real club with real line-up was obviously very exciting and frightening for us. In fact, I did not know what to do on stage and I was very terrified and anxious being there. But still I took 100% out of myself and made the best performance possible. It was also very admiring to see some front row activity.

Kauksurock, Tampere Finland 23.4.2005

Ok, so our first gig took place in "Kaukajärven vapaa-aikatalo" here in Finland, in an event called Kauksurock. There were 6 other bands (Project funk attack, Black-out, Eternity, Ra.F, Domination & Tranquility) besides us and time only about 3 hours to play. The playing time was about 20 minutes for each band, but we were maybe the only ones who didn’t play over it. The gig itself went very well. We all had a few individual playing errors but they didn’t count much because we played together very well. I don’t know about the audience, I didn’t check out their reactions that much. Maybe they liked it or maybe not, the most important thing is that we will be remembered. One annoying thing was that the microphone gave me slight electro-shocks, but I guess that it didn’t take much power from my vocals.
